Can I join Amie now?

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for AMIE now. (Sorry, admission for AMIE cannot be done online.)

Can you complete Amie one year?

In AMIE, there is two sections , namely section A & B . And 4 subjects are to be cleared in section A and 9 subjects is to be cleared in section B and project work and laboratory experiments. And you can opt only 4 subject in a semester/term. Now you can complete AMIE in minimum 2 year duration.

How can I join Amie 2021?

The candidates who have studied Diploma and 10+2 are allowed to appear for the AMIE 2021. The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as their mandatory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45\% marks and a score of 45\% marks in PCM.

What happens after the finalization of Amie membership?

After finalization of AMIE membership you will get another SMS from IEI. AMIE Membership process takes at least 1 month. You can check your AMIE membership status in a list. In case your name does not appear in latest list even after 3 months days of applying, pl check whether your name appears in AMIE discrepancy list.

When can I apply for AMiE exam 2019?

In case of September 01 – February 28/29 : Immediate next Summer Examination. Example: Suppose your date of election is February 15, 2019, then you may apply for Summer 2019 AMIE exam if you wish. Example: Suppose your date of election is March 15, 2019, then you may apply for Winter 2019 AMIE exam if you wish.

Can I apply for admission in IEI without Amie membership?

No, you can’t. Recently, admissions on the basis of 10+2 have been stopped by IEI till further notice. However, Non Diploma Stream students can apply for re-registration after expiry of their 6 year period. I did not get membership. Why? Not all AMIE membership forms are accepted by IEI.

How can I Check my Amie membership status?

You can check your AMIE membership status in a list. In case your name does not appear in latest list even after 3 months days of applying, pl check whether your name appears in AMIE discrepancy list. (Note: Number like 110200051340 is NOT membership number.
