Do I need to watch flash and Arrow together?
Although you do not really have to watch Arrow first, or at all, to be able to enjoy The Flash, I do recommend you watch the first two seasons of Arrow first.

It has incredible action – Most movies wish they had action as good as Arrow. Fantastic soundtrack – The soundtrack is very reflective of the show’s overall tone. (Mostly)Good villains – Deathstroke, and Prometheus were freaking amazing. Damien Darhk and Merlyn were good, but Ra’s al Ghul was pretty underwhelming.
Is Green Arrow a TV version of Batman?
The original concept was a TV version of Batman Begins but they couldn’t get the rights so DC gave them Green Arrow to do with as they will. However, that’s not completely out of left field as Green Arrow has always been a version of Batman.
