Can BAMS doctor practice allopathy clinic?

As per rules, BAMS doctors can practice allopathy, but BHMS (homeopathic) practitioners cannot. Ayurveda doctors practicing in the state who are registered with the Gujarat Medical Council (GMC) can practice allopathy, those who are not, face punishment.

Hi ,there is no as such allopathic course that you can do after bhms to practice allopathy . You can go for MD in homeopathy after bhms as MD in allopathy is restricted to students who have done MBBS as their under graduate subject .

Can BAMS Dr open nursing home?

No body shall open, keep or carry on an AYUSH Nursing Home/ Private Hospital without: i) Being registered in respect thereof and except under in accordance with the terms of a licence granted thereof. ii) Proper permission from Municipal Committee notified area Committee Panchayat.

But many states have passed a law in favour of BAMS dr so they can prescribe allopathic medicines. Yes… upto the extent their syllabus and state govt. allows. For example, Maharashtra govt. allows it. Please refer CCIM and maharashtra govt. circulars.

Yes Any BAMS Doctor can open hospital In Fact you will find multiple hospital near you !! But there are some rules and regulations for different states in india in Maharashtra there is fully legalize to open hospital but you have to Master that is MD/MS in Ayurveda.but in Delhi you can’t even practice Allopathic.

Can a BAMS student read Ayurveda Medicine?

BAMS student read both modern and ayurveda medical scince. Beside this allopathy medicines are learned by them in final year. As modern medical is including with Ayurveda so why not they can’t prescribed allopathy medicines. It’s our right to prescribed both ayurvedic and allopathy medicines.

Can Ayush doctors write medicines from other medical science?

No as per law legalised practitinor cannot practice other mrdicines which are not belongs their field of practice. But in practice due to lack of alopathic physicians other AYUSH Doctors write medicines from other medical science.
