Can you get into heaven by good works?
Matthew 25:31–46 to see what Our Blessed Lord’s criteria are for getting into heaven. That said, a person does NOT get into heaven only because of good works. A person ONLY gets into heaven because of the sacrifice of Our Blessed Lord on the cross where He atoned for our sins and enabled us to be children of God.
What does it take to get into heaven?
You might think that all you have to do is be a good person, go to church, or help others. However, the Bible teaches that the only way to get to heaven is by becoming a Christian, which you do by accepting Jesus as your Savior.
