How do I change my AP coordinator?
Change Your Role or Organization. To update your role or organization, login using your College Board Professional Account, and go to the “My Tools and Services” page. Under “AP/Pre-AP Course Audit- Manage Access” select “edit”. From there, you can remove and add schools or update your role.

You can locate your coordinator key at any time by going to your Account Information page (shown below). Be sure to pass this access information to any new teachers as soon as possible after the web application becomes available. Can I take an AP exam without taking the class?
Yes. We recommend taking the AP course before taking an AP Exam—but it’s not required. To prepare for the exam without taking the course, you should study the skills and content outlined in the course and exam description for your subject, which you can find on the specific course page.
How do you get an AP test that a school doesn’t offer?
If your school doesn’t offer the exam you want to take, you’ll need to arrange to take the exam at a local school that does administer it. Your first step is to search the AP Course Ledger. The AP Course Ledger is the official, up-to-date, comprehensive list of schools that have passed the AP Course Audit.
Can you take AP exams outside of school?
You cannot take an AP class outside of school. You CAN, however, prep yourself independently by using youtube, prep books (I recommend Barron’s), and other materials to take the exam in May which you can register for independently.
