It’s not too challenging, and you can’t catch it here so there’s no need to worry about whittling it down slowly. Hit Dawn Wings with Ghost or Dark for 4x damage, or Dusk Mane with Fire, Dark, Ground or Ghost-type attacks. When you’ve defeated it, Necrozma flees back into the Ultra Wormhole.

As far as I know, both Necrozma forms (and by extension Ultra Necrozma) are in Ubers, but Dusk Mane is far superior due to its bulk, typing and movepool leading to mindgames as to whether or not Dusk Mane will transform, whereas Dawn Wings’ terrible typing and poor Speed pretty much forces it to.
