Is the End of the universe possible?
The end result is unknown; a simple estimation would have all the matter and space-time in the universe collapse into a dimensionless singularity back into how the universe started with the Big Bang, but at these scales unknown quantum effects need to be considered (see Quantum gravity).
What happens if you touch the end of the universe?
Once we reached the ‘end’, we would only see blackness, a void, with nothing there. The universe is ever expanding, so we would never see anything ahead of us, rushing ‘outwards’, but if we were to look back, to where we came from, we would see stars and galaxies approaching us.
Is it possible to find the center of the universe?
According to all current observations, there is no center to the universe. For a center point to exist, that point would have to somehow be special with respect to the universe as a whole.
Where is the center of the universe?
And if not, where is the center of the universe? The universe, in fact, has no center. Ever since the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago, the universe has been expanding. But despite its name, the Big Bang wasn’t an explosion that burst outward from a central point of detonation.
Is the universe ending?
There are many theories that tackle the ideas that explain the end of the universe. The universe is still expanding, 13.8 billion years ago from the Big Bang, so technically speaking – there are no borders. One fact that is hard to forget is the one that suggests how the resources of our universe are finite.
Why can’t we know where space ends?
This one feature makes it almost impossible to know where space ends. You guessed it – it is expansion. From the day that all the dense matter blew up (do not worry if you do not remember this event, the Big Bang was 13.8 billion years ago), the universe started expanding.
What are the borders of the universe?
The universe is still expanding, 13.8 billion years ago from the Big Bang, so technically speaking – there are no borders. One fact that is hard to forget is the one that suggests how the resources of our universe are finite.
