What causes stiff gear shift motorcycle?
If your motorcycle is having a hard time shifting gears, it could be due to a dragging clutch. This means that the clutch disk drags and fails to disengage when you press the clutch pedal. When you try to shift gears this way, your motorcycle might make a loud grinding noise and feel vibrations throughout the bike.
Will a motorcycle shift without oil?
Hard shifting of Gear: As there is no sufficient oil in the motorcycle, the gear shifting will not be smooth. You will feel the effort and noise while shifting the gears of your motorcycle. Money shifting happens when you accidentally miss the gear you are intending to shift into or aggressively downshift, so instead of shifting into 4th gear maybe you shifted back into 2nd gear. It’s called a money shift because when it happens, it will cost you a lot of money to repair.
