Subclips – Premiere Pro. A subclip is a section of a master (source) clip. They are useful for organizing long clips. Subclips reference the master clips media file. Creating subclips does not create more media files.

Why is make Subclip greyed out?
Navigate to your new clip If it is grayed out, that means it is still processing. Once it’s viewable, it will turn white. You will also receive an email notification when the subclip is ready to view.
