What AS and A levels are. AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A (Advanced) level qualifications normally take two years to complete full-time in school or FE college, although they’re also available to study part-time. It is split into two parts, with one part studied in each year. The second part is known as the A2 level.

Are as levels easier than A levels?

AS & A level is a huge step from O Levels. I think AS is harder than A levels. It is acceptable that the A2 have a more syllabus content but AS Paper 1 & paper 3 makes the AS Level much harder than in A2. If you are able to get a good grade for AS, it is able to get a good grade for A Levels as well!
