What is the difference between a rakshasa and an Asuras?
Asuras were as same as Devas; the only difference was their goal and attitude. It is believed that Devas lived in the clouds and Asuras lived underground. Asuras and Devas looked like humans and had no particular skin tone as such. Rakshasas were man-eating creatures.
