Athi Varadar is placed in the Vasantha Mandapam that is close to the west gopuram. He was dark and when you see in person, it does feel like wood. Cos in pictures to me it still felt like stone. Adorned with a orangish silk dhoti and plenty of flowers, He looked handsome as ever.
