What is the apprentice system?
Apprenticeship is a system for training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training and often some accompanying study (classroom work and reading). Apprenticeships can also enable practitioners to gain a license to practice in a regulated occupation.

How is working at HAL?
Eligibility: Candidates must have Full Time Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. Eligible candidates shall have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Based on the GATE marks and requirement, candidates shall be shortlisted.

What is the age limit to become an apprentice in India?
Age: Maximum 26 years, as per Apprentices Act 1961, Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC Candidates and 10 years to PH candidates in respective categories would be admissible. Salary: During Apprenticeship Stipend of Rs. 4984/- per month to degree apprentice and 3542/- to Diploma Apprentices shall be payable.
