Community! The people here at Dartmouth are incredible. They are fun, spirited, passionate, and kind. No one is competitive, and everyone is always ready to give another student a helping hand. I feel like I already have a strong support system of friends that I can fall back on when I need it.

Although Greek life is huge at Dartmouth and many students do drink and party, many students also choose not to drink or drink in moderation. The party scene here is what you make of it. There are certainly guys like that out there; stereotypes don’t come out of thin air.

Students are rarely bored. They are deeply involved with their classes, research, and extracurriculars. There are a few places in the one-block downtown that students go to, but a lot of the social scene exists in off-campus houses or fraternities, which are open to anyone with a Dartmouth ID.

The students we saw were fit, preppy, outdoorsy, passionate, smart, and attractive. They work hard, but also know how to have fun. Given Dartmouth’s size of 4,200 students and its rural location, there is a very strong sense of community and students genuinely love the school and it shows.
