What is the purpose of God giving us the Bible?
The Bible’s purpose is twofold. The first is to show us all have broken God’s Law. James 2:10 declares, “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it” (ESV). God’s Law reveals how all people have sinned against God and are deserving of the fullness of His judgment.
Where in the Bible does it say I have become all things to all people?
And I grew up with these striking and challenging words of Saint Paul, in First Corinthians, chapter 9. He says, quite precisely, “I have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some.” If Saint Paul could say that he had become all things to all people, shouldn’t we try to say that, too?

What is the meaning of freedom in the Bible?
In the dictionary, freedom is defined as the power or right to act, speak, or think without hindrance or restraint. Live Galatians 5:1: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
How really important is the Bible or Word of God in our daily lives?
First, the Bible shows us God’s character and provides us God’s revelation of himself to his people. Third, regularly reading God’s word reorients our thinking so that we can grow in maturity, which is part of the Christian calling (Ephesians 4:14–16; Romans 12:1–2).
Why did Paul wrote 1 Corinthians?
Paul wrote this letter to correct what he saw as erroneous views in the Corinthian church. Several sources informed Paul of conflicts within the church at Corinth: Apollos, a letter from the Corinthians, the “household of Chloe”, and finally Stephanas and his two friends who had visited Paul.
Is the Bible inspired by the word of God?
“All Scripture was given by inspiration of God” (KJV and NKJV). Many of the revised or newer translations that have come about over the last century were closer to the original Greek text, but still retain the word “inspired.” For example, “All Scripture is inspired by God” (NRSV, NASB, HCSB, and several others).

What did Jesus set us free from?
1. The freedom Jesus offers is not only the forgiveness of sins, but freedom FROM sin — to no longer be enslaved to sin! 2. Jesus has the power to set you free from the bondage of sin, from any sin, no matter how intense, habitual, or powerful it may be in your life.
Would you sell your Bible for profit?
We would sell not for the sake of building big profit for shareholders, but for the sake of investing in ministry for more and more Bible distribution. That’s why I like certain Bible publishers that are essentially non-profit ministries. Yes, they charge for their Bibles, but they’re not eager to get rich employees.
Should the Bible be paid for?
However, if we really believe that the Bible (as a paper-and-ink book) is good to have, it has to be paid for. The issue really comes down to the question of profit. I would be very hesitant to try to turn the Bible into profiteering.
Is the Holy Bible the infallible Word of God?
Yet, I do not believe the Holy Bible is the infallible word of God. The Holy Bible is a collection of Christian texts that is the result of refinement by men who thought they were led by God to discern his teachings. The early Christian world was diverse and everyone had a different take on the Gospel of Jesus.
Is the Bible an ethical book?
While the Bible is a very ethical book, it never divorces its code of morality from a personal relationship with the God of the Bible, teaching that God’s laws are not meant to hinder joy and pleasure, but to enhance man’s capacity to know and love God and people.
