You could offer say, “Why don’t you crash at my place on the weekend, rest up, charge your phone, get a shower, watch some TV, have coffee with me” etc. That’s a pretty nice deal when you’re facing homelessness. Just enough to help, but not so much help they lose the drive to work out of it.
