How long does AeroGarden harvest last?
The bottle of nutrients that comes with the aerogarden will last 6 months, then you will need to purchase more. The herb kit should keep producing for 6 months as well. I have seen a few gardens with herbs still growing after a year, but the production seems to slow after 6 months.

What happens if Aerogarden runs out of water?
The pump will stop working and the LED light will turn OFF if the bowl runs out of water. This will alert you that the Sprout needs water. Turning off the lights also will slow the plants’ water intake for a short period of time, so plants can survive for a little while without water.
Can I grow tomatoes in Aerogarden harvest?
I never bothered with changing the water before I grew tomatoes– I had no issues with other kinds of plants in the Aerogarden. But tomatoes are one of the longest-producing crops for the Aerogarden. Reportedly the tomatoes can keep on producing for up to year after the first harvest.

The Aerogarden Bounty is getting 5 stars from me. This is based on the convenience and simplicity of the system. Cleaning and maintenance of the system are only occasional inconveniences, while the plant yield is a daily benefit. It’s 100\% worth the minimal amount of work.
Do you save money with AeroGarden?
The unit isn’t cheap, but the price can be justified because you’re growing things that you would’ve bought otherwise. It won’t save you enough to pay for the initial cost of the AeroGarden itself unless you use the same herbs on a daily basis, but I can see it coming in handy nonetheless.
