Fishman Island is bad because it’s not meant to be an epic arc. It’s just to demonstrate where Luffy’s crew is at in the New World. However, the next arc and current one has been amazing so far. You like it or you don’t, but i hate people saying it’s ‘an acquired taste.” That’s just a cop out.

Is Nami useless?
First of all Nami is absolutely NOT useless. I would actually call her the most useful member of the Straw Hat Pirates. If it weren’t for her, none of them would ever have gotten to the Grand Line with out her navigation skills. They would have been left drifting through the sea and ending up God knows where.
