Why do you claim workshops in Fallout 76?
Claiming a Workshop allows you to receive specific resources for as long as you control it, until it’s taken over by enemy waves and other players (or you go offline). Thankfully, you can use Fallout 76 base building mechanics to defend it.
How many workshops can you have at once in Fallout 76?
You can claim more than one workshop, there isn’t a limit but it might get tedious fast travel back and forth to defend them.

Inside Vault 76, you’ll see a lot of useful-looking junk, in your apartment and outside. The only stuff you can pick up is the Nuka Tapper tape (from the Vault-Tec terminal inside the apartment), a love note on a table in the diner (not a quest item), and the Overseer’s log from her office terminal.
