Why does my rice have black spots?
The yeasts ferment some of the milky grain and it is thereby discolored. That black spot is due to a rice disease called Pecky Rice. It is caused by a yeast. Before a rice grain matures is goes through several stages, one of which is the milk stage.
Why does my rice have brown spots?
