Portugal seceded from Galicia, not Galicia from Portugal. Galicia is Spanish, it’s the Portuguese who decided not to be Galician and Spanish, it’s like asking if the English feel nore Canadian than British, it was Canada who decided to break from England and England is as much British as anyone else.
