A habit that was formed for some reason and has held. It’s too easy to believe that we’re simply lazy and almost comforting to do so.

You’re lazy if you know you can do something but don’t do it because of the effort involved. Instead of doing that task, you prefer not to do anything or do some less strenuous activity. You’re depressed if you develop a bleak outlook and start to think that nothing will ever get better in life.
